CMYK Light
An exploration on the refraction of colour when light is applied.
Alluding to how we perceive.
We are accustomed to having an experience that is informed by conditioned patterning.
Whichever sense is used.... such as looking at an object or landscape, listening to music, touching or conversing with a partner, smelling a flower or tasting an apple.
We tend to register the information entering our field of consciousness in a familiar way, and react accordingly through habit.
However, if we slow down our process and observe with curiosity, we may acknowledge new information, that allows for a fresh perspective, an alternative experience and a different response.
The 2D images are created with 3D cubes and the application of light. Resulting in complex geometric compositions of colour and shadow. Abstract architectural spaces, with a spectrum of colours are formed by layering and subtracting light.
