Architecture of Colour

In this photography project Simon is is exploring the multi dimensional aspects of Self. 

 

Todays world seems to be one of ever evolving disconnection from Nature, each other and our Inner selves.

A plethora of technology, full of various forms of media is vying for our attention and time, in a fast paced hectic society.

 

In the work Simon presents, he invites a reconnection to ourselves.

Simon is curious as to how, when we slow our processes down, and take a breath, we may view the world through an alternative lens of vision, that can allow for new perspectives of ourselves.

 

Through creating sculptures with cubes, colour and light he is inquiring into how as independent subjects, in a world within the midst of Polycrisis we are still Interconnected.

 

The works are upon initial viewing bold blocks of colour. 

Upon further inspection, they draw the viewer into deeper subtle reflections, dimensions, colours and shapes. 

Alluding to the fact, that we each contain multitudes and our Inner Self is multi faceted and includes various colourful characteristics.
